The Fleet is a stretch of water trapped behind the Wold famous Chesil Bank of stones, that lies along the south Dorset coast for about 18 miles, from the Isle of Portland to West Bay.

Hope Cove is a popular holiday destination in south west Devon, and even in winter it is very picturesque. This painting is of an early summer day before the Harbour Beach becomes obscured by boats and people! Its tranquil atmosphere would grace any wall.
