I am a professional artist who has recently moved back to Devon after running my own studio/gallery in St Ives for over 20 years. I mostly create figurative works which capture the light and life in local scenes using acrylics and palette knife.
When creating a scene in paint I try to capture the feel of a place, not just copy how somewhere looks in the hope of forming an emotional connection with the surroundings.
