I love pathways. They provide anticipation as they lead and entice you to destinations, revealing things of interest along the way. In this scene I liked the contrast in colour and texture from the golden spikey shrubs in the foreground to the purple distant trees against the backdrop of a clearing storm. I remember feeling very privileged to be the only person around to witness nature’s event.
