I love the raw, expressionistic feel of this piece. Part of an ongoing series looking at ways we cope with stress and trauma and how it manifests in our mind and body.

The painting actually has lots of symbols and references to the temple culture of Thailand with the lotus leaf motive at the bottom and other Thai characters within. I also see the centre yellow as the gateway to something, yes this painting is abstract but it is a lot more than this when you start to look.
