Description
The iconic Burrow Mump in the Somerset Levels is a favourite place of mine in the South West. I often go there for walks, because of the ever changing atmosphere and mood: sometimes eerie and dark, at other times uplifting and inviting.
I have chosen to paint Burrow Mump with soft pastels and on a day with interesting reflections in the water and some clouds in the sky which add movement in an otherwise very calm landscape.
