Description
Brighton Beach with the derelict West Pier in the distance at sunset.
I have always been fascinated by piers, especially Victorian ones which unfortunately are often replaced by modern ones and left to disintegrate. Combining my love for clouds and the sea with an old pier, I couldn’t resist to first sketch on sight and then finish the painting at home, giving it colourful touches in the sky as well as on the beach.
