Original soft pastel painting on Pastelmat card, measuring 14 x 10 inches (35 x 25cm approx). Unframed.
Sailing at dusk on the shining waters at Chew Valley lake, the sun having gone down behind the local hills leaving a fiery glow on the clouds. The distant yachts drift back and forth in twilight.
The picture will be protected with glassine paper and placed between rigid boards taped together to ensure the painting does not move during transit; then packaged in a box or stout card mailing-wrapper (book-style) prior to postage. Buyer can then retain the work in this protective pack before final framing. Pastel is a permanent medium but requires framing under a mountboard and glass for full protection.
