Description
A corner view of Avebury Manor shows the hazy colours of a late summer afternoon, warmth in the shadows, and sun on the stone. It features an ornate sunlit porch added in the 1920’s.
It is an unusual view of the manor, with a glimpse into the east facing garden around the corner; with a palette of pink, peach and blue contrasting the south side.
The manor is usually photographed showing a symmetrical pathway; artist Mary Parsons likes to find unusual angles on her travels around the National Trust property.
