Inspired by a moody walk across the sands, Bedruthan Steps was painted to reflect the watery reflections in the sand. With bold marks scratched in with a pallete knife, this painting has a lot of impact, drawing your eye in over the sands to the tactile looking rocks in the midground.

This is one of my first colour peices, I discovered oil based pencils and enjoyed blending colours together to create an almost abstract feel for this Tiger.
