Walking my pups along this beach in the rain inspired this stunning painting. I loved the contrast of colours in the cliff face, reflecting the light of the day and still holding up against the tide.

While out in South Africa, I was helping to locate two cheetah brothers on the reserve. It had been a long trek looking for them, they were radiotagged and we used what looked like an old fashioned tv antennae to search for them, following the faint beeps through the bush.
Eventually we found them, the two brothers taking shelter beneath a large tree, while we watched, one of them slowly raised its long powerful body up through the grass, prowling slowly, as if it had spotted something. This moment I captured for this piece, a moment I hope I never forget. Such a beautiful creature.

It was a misty morning on the moors when I saw this coo! Grazing with its herd, this coo lifted its head, almost in greeting, this moment has been translated into a painting to share its beauty.

Inspired by a moody walk across the sands, Bedruthan Steps was painted to reflect the watery reflections in the sand. With bold marks scratched in with a pallete knife, this painting has a lot of impact, drawing your eye in over the sands to the tactile looking rocks in the midground.

Through the trees is inspired by a forest walk on holiday in Cornwall. Following the path through the trees, evening draws close, the shadows are long, stretching across the mossey floor, golden light pours through the canopy above, beckoning us onward.
