A dramatic landscape done in soft pastels and consisting of a high wall of rocks from which a waterfall is cascading down to a lush green valley.
The painting has a white mount and a blue-grey shabby chic style frame and measures 44cm x 54cm (frame included)
This painting started with mark making and spontaneously unfolded on the canvas, working in acrylic layers. It was painted as my style was evolving to more abstract. The dramatic sky and distant horizon allows the viewer to project their own interpretation onto the piece – I love the fact that different people see and find a personal meaning in the work.
Ready to hang in an off-white, hand-painted tray frame.
