As a professional artist for over 25 years I use the medium of oils on canvas, painting a variety of subjects including seascapes, landscapes, wildlife & abstract, but my passion is figurative and portraiture.  I like my paintings to tell a story so that the viewer enquires what is happening, who the person is and what they look like.  Skin tones are always challenging and I strive to create evocative and thought-provoking images.
