Leanne Courtney-Crowe

Creativity is not just about producing the art, it’s about giving someone a connection, either visually or emotionally. And that is why I love being an artist.

My paintings, either sea waves, floral or abstract are created using either oils, acrylics or mixed media. I know that having a selection of different styles and sizes of work keeps me on my toes and helps me give each painting a fresh approach and offers flexibility to my customers.

I started my passion for art on foundation course in my home town of Cheltenham, which then progressed to studying ceramic design at Falmouth School of Art and Design in Cornwall. Cornwall is a stunning place to live and has a special place in my heart, I returned to Cheltenham and graduated in 1997 after studying a visual arts degree.

I spent the next 24 years helping young minds grow, and now painting is a major part of my life. Nature, being my main source of inspiration has keeps me grounded and I am grateful to have connections with the Cotswolds and the Isle of Wight, providing me with endless sea wave views and floral source material.
