Soft pastel artwork of a serene snow scene consisting of a faintly lit chalet in a garden surrounded by trees, after a heavy snowfall.
The painting has only one hint of a warm colour – the light in a window of the chalet – , otherwise the impression comes close to a black and white drawing with the main focus being on the shapes of the snow laden tree branches.
