Description
A striking true to life pastel portrait of a beautiful horned sheep looking directly at the viewer. The painting is extremely detailed so that it seems as if the sheep was looking out of the frame into the room as if from a window. The horns were a bit of a challenge, but soft pastels are ideal for rendering any sort of texture, be it fur, feathers or, like here, a hard and convoluted surface.
This painting is a real eye catcher and should appeal to everybody who loves the countryside and farm animals.
