Collage of various materials – mainly different papers, inks, petals and seeds – and all in warm red, pink and golden hues, suggesting blossoms in a vaguely Japanese style. The collage comes in a white mount and a frame of natural wood. It measures 46cm x 46cm.
Description
A bright and cheerful collage suggesting summer blossoms made with various types of paper (Nepalese Lokta paper, Japanese and German printed paper) as well as inks and natural materials such as petals and seeds. I have applied some acrylic paints – mainly gold and dark red – on the background paper to add some liveliness and keep the eye interested in discovering different shapes and hues.
