    Polzeath is one of Cornwall’s finest surfing resorts. This textile art print not only showcases the surf but also the beautiful coastal path that is enjoyed by so many.   Pentire Head is in the distance and I’m sure many Cornwall lovers would have walked the coast path many times. Many of the wild flowers in the forefront are embellished with pearls and I’ve also used flakes of Cornish slate from the area itself.

  • The Gin Game By Jackie Gale

    A fun textile illustration featuring a few famous bottles of the much loved drink, gin! I’ve played around with the big names and also created a few brands of my own as you can see. There are so many artisan gins around now and I love the bottles, flavours and craftsmanship behind this tipple. Here in Plymouth we have our very own Plymouth Gin of course and I’ve fondly named after this bottle after the nickname for the locals, Janner Gin !

    The name comes from a lesser known play about gin, The Gin Game’. There is actually a connection for me here – the gin reference actually concerns the game ‘gin rummy’, which happens to be a game I played a lot as a child.
