About the artwork
During a family walk we stumbled across this little pond just up from the Educational Centre at Penallta Park. I just had to paint it. Making the most of the tree shapes and the abstractness of the reflections I’ve attempted to show the contrast of the sharp reeds and the soft grass and leaves of the trees, standing out form the blue, blue sky. Painted on Fine Linen canvas, this piece is ready to hang.
