Description
Oil on board. Image height – 6 inches, Width – 35 1/2 inches.
I cut the board to size, prime it, then add a layer of texture gel. The painting is completed using artist quality Old Holland oil paints.
This panoramic view was sketched out from a composite of photographs I had taken. I then had a session outside, painting from life, to put the basic colours in. All the building detail was then added later, in the studio.
