Oil painting of a full moon over Sennen Cove in Cornwall: there is just the murmur of the sea receding and a gentle wind sweeping over the sand, the rest is silence, calm and serenity.
The painting comes in a beautiful bespoke frame of white painted wood in the so-called St. Ives style, perfectly encasing this natural night scene. I imagine it hanging in a bedroom where it could be perceived as a window out into the sea before turning off the lights for the night.
