Description
Soft pastel painting of a little Cornish beach – near Sennen Cove – with a moored boat waiting for its owner to return. The weather is just about to turn, the sand and the sea still catch the light in patches but the sky is rapidly turning cloudy and casts a darker mood on the scene. I love Cornwall in summer when the sky is blue and the sun is shining, but from an artistic point of view, Cornish landscapes really come to life and become wonderfully luminous when there is a display of light and dark in the sky.
The painting has a white mount and comes in a blue-grey wooden frame – the ideal view for a holiday cottage near the sea.
