Swans are lovely in any season and we are fortunate to live in Dorset where we have several rivers and lakes. This painting is a river bank scene on a summer’s day. This painting was one of my first using an abstract acrylic flow technique for the background, using a palette knife to create the trees and branches. The swans were painted in acrylic. This picture is painted on Daler board, unframed, size: 24 x 20″. Also available as giclée prints.
