Barn Owl original painting in acrylic on canvas. Background has been painted in an abstract acrylic flow technique to provide atmosphere. The different blues, silver and white provides the wintery sky, with the brown and copper colours the dead bracken. Size is 16″ x 12″ (40 x 30cm). Unframed.
We live in West Moors, Dorset and during the late winter, early spring, we hear many different owls during the night. Barn Owls are a beautiful bird and very endearing. One of my favourite subjects to paint.
