This painting was inspired by an image on Pinterest. The background was painted using an abstract acrylic flow technique to provide the atmosphere of a moonlit forest, in a range of blues, white and silver. Loved the effect of the owl flying in and the other at rest. Barn Owls are one of my favorite birds to paint. This is painted on canvas, unframed, size 24 x 16″. Also available as giclée prints. Really enjoyed painting this.
