Description

Safe and Sound is one of a series of hand printed lino prints with screen print by Anita Saunders, inspired by animals of the British countryside.

An encounter with a fawn sparked the creation of this piece. It was created using two traditional hand printed techniques – screen and lino printing. The coloured areas were screen printed onto the paper in turn, using water-based printing inks. Finally the intricately carved lino block was printed on top, using an oil-based intaglio ink.

Limited to an edition of just 18 original prints, Safe and Sound is supplied unframed, leaving you free to choose a mount and frame to suit your taste and décor.
