Reflections and water are two of my favourite things to paint. This was inspired by a photo taken by my sister on a local walk at Penallta, near Nelson, South Wales, earlier this year, capturing the high pressure late Winters day, or early Spring. The clouds reflecting into the water and the stripy , blowy movements of the reeds just add to this scene. Penallta park is a lovely and host on of the largest figurative land sculptures ‘Sultan the Pit pony,’ it is well worth a visit and is home to a host of wildlife and amazing views.
Painted on oil canvas paper, this will need a suitable frame to hang. A frame can be included, please enquire.
