I have always loved to draw and paint. It wasn't until moving to Bournemouth in 2001 that I decided to take it more seriously and I had some professional watercolour instruction learning many new techniques. Then in 2008 I found myself signed to an Agency who employed teachers of art on cruise liners. I have since then been lucky enough to travel the world doing what I love to do and pass on my knowledge of watercolour techniques.
I now do regular demonstrations to local art groups, teach in my studio at home to small groups, and Chair a local Art Group as well as being a member of two more groups. My first love is watercolour although I am a pastel painter as well; having this year had a pastel accepted in the Patchings International Open Art Exhibition in Nottingham. I also dabble in oil!
In 2010 I was Highly Commended in the SAA Artist of the Year Competition.
