I’ve always found people’s perceptions and opinions fascinating, how our upbringings, cultures and histories impact how we experience the world, how we form positive or negative opinions. This piece was set to explore these associations with music. This piece is within the same collection as Head Space, as the concept revolved around the ‘Why’ within thinking. Whilst creating this piece I was listening to Singing in the Rain, and continued painting the ideas, colours and shapes that I could see whilst listening to the song. How the song made me feel, why the song made me feel and what shapes and ideas I could use to best explain my thoughts are the final result within this painting
