My husband is from Brora on the NE coast of Scotland where you can see otters on a regular basis in the River Brora. Beautiful lithe animals, cheeky little faces. The background to this painting has been applied using an abstract acrylic flow technique. Colours used are a range of blues, whites and silver to illustrate the water, together with yellows, greens and browns for the rocks. Painted on canvas, unframed, size 16 x 12″. One of my favourites.
