Paula Boardman – Biography
I’ve loved painting from a very early age and have always spent my spare time working away happily at my easel usually singing along with my favourite music – however, a recent redundancy from my job in the food industry has meant I can now devote all my time to itÂ
I also love being outdoors and living with my husband and our dog in the beautiful West Wiltshire countryside, I always have plenty of inspiration from walking in the local landscapes. We also get to the Devon, Dorset or Somerset coast as often as we can and the sea is one of my favourite subjects as, combined with the weather it provides ever-changing colours and atmospheres that I love to try and capture as a moment in time
The majority of my work is in oils, but I sometimes switch to acrylic or watercolour and I do enjoy abstract and still life painting in addition to the landscapes and seascapes mentioned above
I hope you enjoy looking through this selection of paintings as much as I’ve enjoyed creating them - I’m also delighted to accept commissions, so please do get in touch to discuss:
