The changes that autumn brings, shifting from greens to yellows, oranges, and reds, has always been a favourite of mine. Usually this is a gradual shift, but there was something about this stretch of woodland, just outside of Exeter, that meant this shifting was uniquely divided. A week later I flew in the same area, and the entirety of the forest had shifted to the autumnal palette.

I enjoy expansive vistas, busy images, and suns creeping above the horizon, but sometimes it’s the simple images that strike true.
This aerial shot of a small forest outside of Lyme Regis in Dorset shows the incredibly variety and texture of the forest canopy. You can get lost in this image.
