Oil and cold wax on paper

PRICES DOWN UNTIL VALENTINE DAY!

I graduated from Arts University Plymouth with a MA degree(Merit) in 2021 in Painting, Drawing and Printmaking at the peak of COVID which significantly influenced the development of my practice. In 2021 I was offered a job abroad as a ceramic teacher and returned 2022 with a new passion - artistic ceramic. I am working with oils and cold wax, but also using acrylics and creating lino cuts. I have a great respect for the traditional approaches to landscapes but I also like to explore, appreciate the unexpected events that occur in the painting process. In tranquil landscapes, I am depicting the stories of timeless rebirth and hopes of new beginnings in locations of disasters, destruction and ruins. They are like sets of temporal paradoxes which will live long after us to remind us of lost wholeness of perfection.
I started exhibit 2004 in Finland and had 18 personal exhibitions before moving to England 2009. My work has been sold into private collections in Canada, Japan, Israel, Finland, Estonia, Spain and UK.
Between 2009-2023 I had 16 personal and group exhibitions(5 of them in Cambridge, 9 in Plymouth, 1 in Exeter and Print exchange in USA). I also took part of Devon Open Studios on 2018 and opened my house to the public.
