Bio
I am a self-taught artist, based in Cornwall, I paint predominantly in acrylic and oil.
I have lived in Cornwall now for 20 years and since moving down here I have concentrated on the amazing land and seascape opportunities that are abundant throughout the area.
Like most artists, over the years I have experimented with most media, ,but fell in love with acrylics. Not only does it suit my way of working, it dries quickly ( which I love), has very little scent, and the colours are as bright or as low key as I want. But recently my love affair with oils has been reignited and using the acrylic paint as a bright and quick drying underpainting works amazing well.

I have sold work in local galleries in Looe, Fowey, Kingsand and Tavistock since living and working here, plus taking part in local exhibitions with other artists.
I have a small but bright studio in my garden where I have been tutoring 2 to 3 people at a time in the art of using acrylic and oil. Also, this year I hope to team up with a therapist to run art and therapy retreats here in Cornwall.
