Eltian Bossert

South African born artist Eltian Bossert, left behind a much-loved career in the art business for an eventual career in the armed forces, however never abandoning his interest in the visual arts he continued to express his love for landscapes in his spare time. With his predominantly vivid and impressionistic style, Eltian attempts to lay down with oil- paint, brush and pallet-knife his Impressions of the South, striving to give this exceptionally beautiful part of the United Kingdom, he calls home, justice with his work.

    Original Oil Painting  by Eltian Bossert, depicting a frosty morning at Ilchester during one of my runs. This piece was created utilising mostly a Palette knife on Board

    This was the scene that met me and a good friend during one of our early Sunday morning runs, safe to say it was breathtaking.

    Framed Size: Approx 57cm x 47cm.

    Unframed: 40.5cm x 30.5cm

    Medium: Oil on Board.

    Method: Impasto Palette knife

    This piece is fully framed in a 80mm wide white moulding, and comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
