A few years ago, while I was working away from home, my daughters gave me a paint set to help me fill my spare time. Since then I have become an enthusiastic artist, and painting has become an important part of my life. Working from our home on The Lizard in Cornwall, I take inspiration from the local environment, especially the coastal landscape. Today I use mostly oils, painting onto board which I find allows me to make the kind of marks I find most inspiring.
