A collection of wildflowers from the hedgerow and fields around her studio on the Somerset-Devon border inspired this little oil painting. This impressionist painting is painted primarily using a palette knife and rags. Annie is able to imply and infer the textures of the flowers and foliage with deft strokes and mark making.
This small oil painting is on card which is 22 cm x 22 cm and framed in a white painted St Ives wooden frame measuring 29 x 29 cm without glass.
