Whispering Pines by Belinda Reynell

Description

This statement piece is inspired by my daily walk taking in the majestic pine trees along the way. I love looking up through the branches. It gives you such a sense of freedom. They reach so far up into the sky. I’ve worked on this painting over a number of days building up the colour and texture using scrapers, palette knives and brushes. The edges are painted Paynes grey and this piece is ready to hang.
