“The Tearooms, Bossington” is a Sepia ink drawing on cream-tinted Ingres paper, approx 8×8 inches (20 x 20cm). The work is unframed. The side view of this old cottage-style tearoom features its distinctive tall chimney and thatched roof. A combination of sepia ink and tinted paper was chosen to give an olde-worlde style to the drawing. A little coloured graphite has been included on the walls to provide vegetation shadows, and similarly to add subtle tint to the thatched roof.
