Walking the Coast Path in Cornwall from Mousehole westwards, this is the first glimpse you get of the lovely Lamorna Cove: dramatic rocks, a deep blue sea and, in autumn, intense colours in nature.
I love this part of Cornwall and am always happy going for extensive hikes to discover new places. Lamorna is certainly a gem of Southern Cornwall and I enjoyed every minute painting this view, though it was rather time consuming to get these huge rocks right and convey the impression for the viewer to be on the path leading to the cove.
