Christmas Rose – blackbird original screen print

Description

‘Christmas Rose’, one of what will be a series of four limited edition, original blackbird screen prints, was once again inspired by nature on my doorstep.

The cold flurries of winter snow were starting to melt when my little garden friend could be seen hunting for food in the borders. The Hellebores and snowdrops were a welcome sight – the sign of warmer times to come.

Created using the drawing fluid method, this image consists of over 20 hand drawn screens – one for each colour used to make up the finished print. The whole edition consists of just 14 prints.

• Medium: Acrylic printing inks on acid free paper

This image is supplied unmounted, wrapped in acid free tissue paper, rolled and packaged in a heavy-duty cardboard tube. This leaves you free to choose how to frame the piece to suit your taste and décor.
