Part of a series begun in 2015 using coffee sacks as a basis for imaginative abstract paintings.
‘As a boy I avidly read Malory’s Morte d’Arthur, anh his stories of chivalry, dragons and quests to find truth and justice. In his book Morgan Le Fay, the sister of Arthur, was the goddess of healing and the mystic ruler of the Isle of Avalon, an afterworld containing the promise of rebirth. On our journey as artists we search for truth and justice, a journey towards enlightenment.’
