This mixed media landscape painting is inspired by an extensive trip to Iceland where I traveled and walked the wild volcanic landscape. it measures 61 x 61 cms. and unframed. the media used are ash,  sand, collaged papers with colour in translucent layers giving depth and complexity to the resulting image. the colours are subtle resonant.
