Pastel on pastelmat card, measuring 14 x 10 inches (35x25cm approx). Unframed. A bend in the river, looking towards distant hills; framed by poplar trees and waterside willows on a bright mid-afternoon in November. (The artist was walking the Severn Way northwards from Epney).
The painting has sharp contrast between the shaded banks and poplars, and the autumnal willows beyond; using deep greens and mauves, muted ochres and bright yellow.
The picture will be protected with glassine paper and rigidly taped boards before final packaging/dispatch. UK delivery included in the price.
